5 Essential Tips For A Successful Email Marketing




Getting great results from an email marketing plan means research and planning.  If you want to make sure you are ahead of the competition and that your clients are opening your emails there are a few tips you should consider.  

Keep To A Regular Schedule

If you email once this month, ten times next month and then don’t for a few months your clients will not know what to expect and this is a bad thing.  If you’re feeling particularly creative at one setting write up the emails and save them to send out over the course of a few weeks.  Sticking to a regular schedule will help your clients stay on the lookout for your messages.

Add Variety

If your emails start to look all the same then your clients aren’t going to want to open them because they are going to feel like they already know what’s in the message.  If they feel like there’s something interesting in each message they’ll be excited to open the next one you send.  

Increase Re-Mails

One great way to get better results is to send out the same message again.  Does this seem to contradict the above tip?  Absolutely.  When you email them again you’ll only send them to the clients that didn’t open it the first time.  This will increase the benefit of the email by 20-100 percent.

Compatibility

Don’t forget to take the time to know whether or not what you are sending is compatible with the many different devices out there.  Check whether or not the graphics you’re using, any videos or HTML are all compatible with the widest variety of devices people use to read their emails.  

Keep The Hits Coming

Sure you want to tell your clients about new products or services you have.  More importantly you’ll want to make sure that they know about your best selling products.  Plugging your most popular items will help your clients remember when they need more.
